Neal Peirce writes the country's first and only nationally syndicated newspaper column focused on state, local and regional trends. The weekly articles are syndicated by the Washington Post Writers Group and appear in a variety of newspapers across the United States. This Internet distribution list is for interested friends, colleagues and others anxious to keep an eye on trends and catch the commentary if it's not in their local papers. Recent Peirce columns -- those from the last few months -- can be viewed on-line at the Post Writers Group site. Earlier columns may be accessed through the Citistates web site. Do not use a valuable password as it may occasionally be e-mailed back to you.
